Ervin Riley- 02/04/2013

Ervin compiled and edited the best account to date of known Riley kin that served during the War Between the States (both Confederate and a few Union).

Ervin writes: Pete, I am honored that my Riley Civil War research now appears on the John Riley Sr. website. Each soldier has been diligently checked and re-checked to ensure accuracy, but there may be some errors. I am aware that my research doesn't always coincide with what has been posted previously on the website. I am so grateful to all of you who have contributed to our Riley family research.  The encouragement that I have received from Jim Riley is beyond measure. I am always available to answer any questions concerning our Riley veterans and would be glad to conduct further research on anyone in our family.    Erv Riley
